I grew up in a family of steel fabricators... A family business built on hard work and incredible result. I passed through these warehouses as a small child, in awe of the machines the size of buildings, a high schooler coming in on the weekends, spray painting large sheet of metal for art projects, and then a freelancing adult, looking back on these years- seeing closer. I photographed the halls of these warehouses, focusing on the small moments and intricacies that these huge metal fabrications hold. I find it inspiring how much beauty is within the walls of a place so gritty and industrial- and for the people who work there and me growing up, something we see everyday.
