Hello! My name is Nina Ripich.
I am an Art Director & Designer as well as a...
Seeker. Painter. Adventurer. Shutterbug. Scuba Diver. Horse Wrangler. Collector of old things and lover of books.
I'm in one of two places: Outside collecting inspiration or in my studio/home office, using that inspiration.
My hunger for painting, drawing, books, photography, and collaborating with other artists has led me to the world of Art Direction & Graphic Design where I can dance through it all.
I've worked in advertising agencies in Hollywood to art museums and backdrop painting studios... in the offices of Faber Castell to yoga/art/retail collectives. I've worked with bands and musicians to create album art, music videos, posters, and more. My adaptability and ability to collaborate and with a wide range of people has proven to be a strength... as well as my desire to always be the best person and designer I can be.
The last five years, I have worked as an Art Director creating Key Art for Film/TV studios. What does this mean? movie posters, streaming graphics, anything marketing you see for a movie. I've also worked indepenently for musicians creating album art and promotional material. These are two areas I find endlessly exciting, rewarding, and rich with opportunities for design and collaboration. At the same time, I’m eager to broaden my horizons and explore other areas of marketing. I thrive on new challenges and love finding fresh ways to put my creative problem-solving skills to work.
I studied at Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and graduated with a B.F.A. in Painting. These fine art sensibilities find their way into my work everyday, as I love to include hand-drawn or illustrated elements whenever I can.
Currently, I am freelance & based out of Cleveland, OH.
Books are open. Happy Trails!
